Hope Church Stoke-on-Trent hope hands

“We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters into the inner place behind the curtain.”
Hebrews 6:19

We are a family made up of people from different backgrounds, cultures, and ethnicities, united by the same hope in our Lord. At Hope, we believe that everyone has a place in the Church. Our mission is to grow together in Jesus, under the preaching and teaching of the Word of God (the Bible) by the power of God. Hope is a Church plant from Park Church, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent.

At Hope Church, our Sunday gathering doesn’t begin or end with the music. We share tea or coffee together before the service and stay afterwards to talk, laugh, and enjoy time as a church family. You’re warmly invited to join us.
If something you hear touches your heart, raises a question, or if you would simply like someone to pray for you, there will always be someone glad to listen and pray with you.

Verse of the day

Give proper recognition to those widows who are really in need.
1 Timothy 5:3

Maybe this is a question you ask yourself. And it is a legitimate question, because wherever you look, it often seems that hope is nowhere to be found. You only need to watch the news to realise that we live in a world that is self-destructing, where love is fading, evil seems to prevail, and hearts grow weary’

But we want to say that there is Hope!

Our hope is not in ourselves, for we know that we are weak, but our hope is in the Rock of Ages. God is our fortress and our shield.

Our mission is to be lights in our local area, and this cannot be done in our own power, but through Jesus Christ, the Light of the world. As followers of Christ, we are sent to share the good news of the Gospel where we live, in Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme, and, why not, to the ends of the world!
